Description:  The Mental Health Task Force, part of San Juan Safe Communities Initiative, would like to invite you to celebrate September 2021 Recovery Month with us. Our Path to Wellness celebration will include a live DJ with activities that will lead you around informational booths featuring local agencies. The kids can enjoy a free bouncy house and face painting while you meet the friendly faces of our service community. Food will be available while you listen to some selected recovery stories that can inspire anyone to follow in their footsteps. A panel of community members will be speaking on teen suicide, providing advice on how to speak to your teen, when critical intervention is necessary, and where to seek help.

Description:  Recovery Communities of New Mexico, Pueblo of Pojoaque Behavioral Health Team, and the Poeh Cultural Center are bringing the fourth annual community recovery event to Pojoaque Valley. “Celebrate A Culture of Healing” will be held September 25, 2021, 10am-4pm at the Poeh Cultural Center courtyard. Come for free food, live entertainment and art exhibitions but stay for stories of healing, a network of resource booths and behavioral health services, kid-friendly fun, community connection and empowering words of personal resilience.  We hope you and your family can join us to celebrate a culture of healing!

At the event, community partners will be manning informational tables targeting all populations seeking information on recovery. This event – Juntos: A Pathway to Wellness, will include food, water, games, face painting, Art contest for the local community, and local entertainment from  our community.

Arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, A jumping Balloon/Tent for the kids. An area will be set up for Corn Hole Beanbag tossing. We will also Invite other IOP Providers and local agencies to join us, specifically but not limited to "Full Circle Recovery", "Roots", "Socorro Mental Health", "Presbyterian Health Services", "New Mexico Tech ASAP", and any other agency that supports recovery services in  the community of Socorro.
